The Beginning of Beginnings

Published by davisadmin on

“I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure.’” – Isaiah 46:9b– 10

Here we are seven months into 2021, and two days ago, we entered a new month.

August, to be exact — the eighth month of the year, to be more specific.

In Christendom, if you believe numbers are significant in the Kingdom of God, you will know August to be the month of new beginnings.

To be honest, when asked, the saved, as well as the unsaved, will tell you, eight is the number of new beginnings.

The month of August brings with it a feeling of all things new — new hope, new expectations, and new adventures. The month brings a sense of security in knowing God is about to do something new.

We begin to hear phrases like “New Season, New Day, New Wine, and New Wineskin.”

We’ll begin to hear sermons on how you can’t put new wine into old wineskins, and how the former things have come to pass, and new things God declares, and then, how God is doing a new thing, and it shall spring forth, now.

As sons and daughters of the Most High, we will adopt a blind trust in God, believing by faith how the old things have passed away and the Father has made all things new.

Now, if we look forward five days, we find Sunday will be the eighth day of the eighth month — double eights.

(Prophetic people get really excited when they see occurrences like this.)

We begin to ask questions like: What is the significance or what is the meaning behind double eights? What is the symbolism associated with such a date? Or what is the Father saying in this season?

So many questions, and there can be various answers depending on whether God is speaking individually or corporately.

However, one message I believe God is sending to His Bride is, this month shall be the “Beginning of Beginnings.”

It’s a level in God where we’re walking in “double beginnings” — spiritual and natural.

It’s a dimension in God where the spiritual realm and the natural realm are running parallel.

As things are birthed in the spirit realm, birthing will simultaneously take place in the natural realm.

We decree: “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10)

The Spirit of the living God is announcing to all, who have an ear to hear, your destiny was declared before the beginning of time. In other words, God literally knows where you will end before you begin.

Every day of your life was recorded in your manuscript, and every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. (Psalm 139:16, NLT)

How awesome is that? Imagine, before evening and morning came into existence, our narratives were written and published.

The Father is saying, rest assured, this I am doing in you is a good work. No matter how the devil tries to distort it — it is good work. No matter what lies he tells about it — it is good work, and it is working in you and through you for My glory.

So, be “…confident of this very thing, that He who hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”  (Philippians 1:6)

My prayer for you today is that your beginning of beginnings will be prosperous spiritually as well as physically.

I commend you to Him, who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that you could ask or think, according to the power that works in you. May His face shine upon you and be gracious to you and give you peace.
