A Hard Reset

Today’s blog post is different. But I pray that you take the time to read through it and meditate on it. Then read through it again and allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you.

On Sunday, July 11th, the Spirit of the Lord released a prophetic word, to our congregation, during our morning worship service. I feel it is worth sharing with you because I believe it’s a word for the Church.

The Word of the Lord (the words in italic are the prophecy):

A shift has taken place in the spirit realm, and God has done a hard reset in the earth realm.

You are no longer where you once were. God supernaturally moved you from that place in the past into His purpose and destiny.

The earth has been reset. We cannot go back to the old way. We can’t go back to the old way.

God has reset your destiny.

That which took place over the past year was a hard reset.

Wikipedia.org defines a hard reset or factory reset as a software restore of an electronic device to its original system state by erasing all of the information stored on the device. Doing so will effectively erase all of the data, settings, and applications that were previously on the device.

God has reset His original plans and original blueprint from whence He created us.

It’s like we have been given a second chance to move out into what He has purposed and called us to do.

God took the on and off switch and did a hard reset.

The clock is ticking. Every second is important. Every millisecond is important. It’s important.

Waste, not your time. It’s important.

It’s an appointed time — a Kairos Moment.

Waste, not your time.

The significance of the Word:

When my Apostle got up to preach, he said the Word was so in line with what he was going to preach that we had heard the sermon.

We cannot go back to the old way.

Isaiah 43:18a reads, “Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old.”

Isaiah 42:9a reads, “Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare;”

My Pastor explained that the times we are living in today are similar to Genesis the 6th chapter before the flood.

Genesis 6:5–6, “The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.” “The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled.” (NIV)

“As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;” (Matthew 24:37–38, NIV)

However, after the flood, God made a covenant with Noah and the generations to come. “Never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.” (Genesis 9:11, NIV)

My Pastor further explained that the warning to the body of Christ is, now is the time to get ready. Now is the time to seek the Lord like never before.

A shift has taken place in the spirit realm, and God has done a hard reset in the earth realm.

Just as a factory reset restores a device to its original system state, God has reset the trajectory of the Church — individually as well as corporately and has erased all the corrupt data, restoring its original intent.

Sunday, July 11th, was a significant day in that the number eleven symbolizes a paradigm shift prophetically — it’s a transitional number. So, the earth came into alignment with heaven.

“Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10, NKJV)

Finally, my Pastor said, so, there has been a shift, and this is the day of repentance. This is the day of restoration. This is the day that God is going to bring forth His people.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; [the emphasis is on my people; God didn’t say the world, but He said my people] then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14, NKJV)

God is looking for His bride —He’s looking for His bride. The Church is His bride.

The world has compromised and allowed any and everything and said that’s the Body of Christ, but it’s not so.

We need to repent and ask the Lord to change us. Then, He can cleanse you and make you whole.

This is the day. This is the day.

“While it is said: Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” (Hebrews 3:15, NKJV)

“…if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9–10, NKJV)
